Privacy Policy
Desert Island Draft · Effective August 31, 2026
The short version: Desert Island Draft collects no personal information. There is no account, no sign-up, and no ads. The game may collect anonymous usage statistics (which screens get used, where castaways meet their end) to help us make it better — nothing that identifies you. Your castaway's fate is between you and the island.
What we collect
The game does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information. It does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, or precise location, and there is no account to create.
The game may collect anonymous usage analytics through Google Analytics for Firebase: things like app opens, session length, screens viewed, gameplay events (cards drafted, runs finished, how the castaway died), device model, operating system version, and approximate country. This data is aggregated and anonymous — it is used only to understand how the game is played and to improve it. It is never used to identify you, never used for advertising, and never sold.
Your game progress
Your progress — level, unlocked cards, know-how, and run history — is saved only on your own device, in the app's local storage. It never leaves your device and we never see it. Uninstalling the app deletes it permanently (the island keeps no backups, and neither do we).
Purchases
Optional in-app purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We never receive or see your payment details, card numbers, or billing information — Google handles all of that under the Google Privacy Policy. The game only learns that a purchase succeeded so it can unlock what you bought.
Analytics and third parties
Usage analytics are processed by Google Analytics for Firebase, a service operated by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. Analytics data is retained by Google for a limited period (by default, 14 months) and then deleted. We do not use any other third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, the game contains no advertising, and no data is ever sold or shared for marketing purposes.
Children
The game is rated for teens and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included — the anonymous usage statistics above are the only data the game gathers, regardless of who is playing.
Changes to this policy
If the game ever changes in a way that affects any of the above, this policy will be updated here and the effective date revised.
